Your 12-day expedition holiday starts at Buenos Aires, the cool and cosmopolitan capital of Argentina. Make sure you visit Teatro Colon, the grand 1908 opera house and the modern MALBA museum for some of the best Latin America Art.

The next day, you will fly to Ushuaia to board MS Fridtjof Nansen. You will then prepare to cross the famed Drake Passage between South America Cape Horn and South Shetland Islands of Antarctica. This is where the Atlantic, Pacific and Southern seas converge making this some of the choppiest waters in the world.

The next day you will be rewarded with the arrival of another world – Antarctica. Here you will spend four days watching in awe, oceans filled with icebergs, whales and colonies of penguins. You will taken by Zodiac to land in South Shetlands and the Antarctica Peninsula where you can have the full experience of what Antarctica has to offer from amazing landscapes to astounding wildlife.

Your expedition ship will then head back to civilisation where you will disembark at Ushuaia for your flight back to Buenos Aires, filled with wonderful memories.
