Mandarin Oriental Hotel’s are opening another London location

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is opening its third London location, set to open in the British Capital in 2028.

The new building will sit right on London’s South Bank. Guests will enjoy views over St Paul’s Cathedral.

Mandarin Oriental Bankside, will be a key part of the larger Bankside Yards development. This development will connect the Tate Modern to Blackfriars Station.

The new hotel will have 171 guests and 70 branded ‘Residences at Mandarin Oriental’. The hotel will have all the wellness and fitness facilities you’d expect. This includes a comprehensives spa with wellness therapies, beauty treatments, a 25m lap fool, decked out fitness centre and more.

There will also be four eateries, two on the first floor and two on the 19th floor. Excitingly, the high rise restaurants will have sweeping views of the city, enticing both hotel guests and casual diners.

The Bankside Yards development plans to be the UK’s first fossil fuel-free major development. A range of real estate companies including Hotel Properties Limited, Native Land Limited and Amcorp Properties Berhad are working to develop the hotel.

James Riley, group chief executive of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group: “We are excited to announce the development of Mandarin Oriental Bankside, London. This will be a significant addition to the Bankside Yards development and our third Mandarin Oriental property in London.

“We look forward to working with our partners to create a world-class hotel and branded residences that will undoubtedly become a landmark destination in London’s South Bank.”
