The all-suite, all-balcony luxury liner is ideal for experienced solo cruisers and couples, and appeals to the over 50s. Seven Seas Mariner has 354 suites in 15 categories, all with private balconies, marble bathrooms and sitting areas. Compass Rose, the main dining room on Seven Seas Mariner, offers open seating for breakfast and lunch. However, dinner  requires reservations. Buffet breakfast and lunch are served at La Veranda, which is transformed into an Italian restaurant for dinner. Prime 7 is a speciality steak house which requires reservations for dinner.

The Canyon Ranch Spa Club has relaxation and treatment rooms, steam rooms and saunas and offers treatments such as signature massages and therapeutic bodywork. The beauty salon provides full range salon services for men and women. The fitness centre runs exercise classes, such as Pilates, yoga and aerobics, and is equipped with Lifecycles, free weights, striders, StairMasters, treadmills, weight benches, a Nautilus machine, workout mats and step benches. Deck 12 provides golf cages, shuffleboard, paddle tennis and a full-circle jogging track. Seven Seas Mariner caters to sophisticated and well-travelled adults and does not have facilities for children. However, on select voyages, the Club Mariner program is offered with supervised age-appropriate activities for 5 – 8 year olds, 9 – 12 year olds and 13 – 17 year olds. There is no in-cabin babysitting.
