The interior is full of natural stone and marble, most of which is imported from Italy. Onboard in the main lounge is a foyer waterfall to the Zen Garden. On board are a wide variety of activities and places to cater the interests of all guests aboard. It is a family friendly ship.

There are 5 cabin types with a total of 1,275 cabins onboard; 17 cabins are wheelchair accessible. There are 18 suites with private balcony, furnished with two double beds that can be converted to a queen size bed upon request, air conditioning, storage space, bathroom with tub, TV, personal safe, minibar, telephone and WiFi (for a fee). Room sizes vary from 13sqm to 39sqm. Aurea Experience offers guests spa package, upgrade of products in room, unlimited use of the Thermal Area (for adults only).

There are three restaurants onboard namely: Il Palladio Ristorante, located on deck 6, open for dinner only with fixed formal seating. The Le Fontane Ristorante is the ship’s second main dining room, seating 720 guests and open for open breakfast, lunch and fixed seating for dinner. There is also the Kaito Sushi Bar, the ship’s à la carte Japanese sushi bar with numerous dishes selections to choose from.

On deck 13 there the MSC Aurea Spa which has a beauty parlour, massage room, jacuzzi and steam bath. There is a gym which has a variety of equipment available for guests to use including treadmills, stair steppers with inbuilt TV screens, free weights along with a separate aerobics area and sea views.

On board is the standard MSC Kids Club for children ages three to 12 and Teens Club for teens ages 13 to 17. It is managed by entertainment staff on board MSC Poesia. Children and teens are invited to participate in daily activities such as painting, crafts, board games, and group games. Onboard passengers with children can visit the I dinosauri Children Playroom that features arts and crafts and soft play area.
