The 77,713 tonne ship has 10 passenger decks and can accommodate 1,924 passengers and 780 crew. There are a number of different accommodation classes on the Mein Schiff 1, from inside cabins to Penthouse Suites. Cabins are equipped with air-conditioning, telephone, bathrobe, slippers, mini-bar, flat-screen television, Nespresso machine and bathroom with shower and toilet. They can accommodate up to five guest so are perfect for families. There are six restaurants and two bistros on board. The Atlantik Restaurant is the main dining area and offers open seating and healthy food. The Anckelmannsplatz buffet serves three meals a day and ice-cream between meals. La Vela is a bistro, Cliff 24 offers grilled cuisine, GOSCH Sylt is a fish house with Japanese inspired Cuisine. Fine dining is available at Richards which serves up a six-course meal. There is also a variety of bars and lounges.

There are two pools and four hot tubs on board. The gym has cardio equipment and a personal trainer upon request. The family-friendly ship has a kids’ club which offers young children an experience to learn about the maritime world, other cultures and the environment.
