It is an all-suite and all-balcony vessel with a high crew to passenger ratio and an informal elegance. The onboard languages are English and German. There are 258 suites aboard Europa 2, ranging from 376 to 1,227 square feet. There are seven family apartments, made up of two living areas measuring 215 square feet with a private veranda space of 75 square feet. The suites are all equipped with tablet PCs, flat-screen televisions and portable phones. There are seven restaurants on board Europa 2, all with open seating. The largest, Restaurant Weltmeere can seat 266 guests. Restaurant Elements is the place for Asian dishes. For French cuisine, Restaurant Tarragn is a Parisian-style brasserie. Authentic Italian dishes are served at Restaurant Serenissima. Sakura is a sushi restaurant and the open-air Yacht Club Restaurant serves freshly prepared dishes from open chef’s stations.

The Ocean Spa can provide various treatments from hairdressers, physical therapists, beauticians, medical masseuses and pedicurists. The wellness facilities include a beauty salon, dry-ice wall, eight massage/body treatment rooms, steam sauna (herbal, Finnish and bio) and a gym with classes. Europa 2 has seven Family Apartments, which measure 581 square feet, and special areas for children and teenagers. The Knopf Club Club is for two to three year olds, the Kids’ Club is for four to 10 year olds and the Teens’ Club for 11 to –15 year olds. There are iPod chairs, table football, chill-out spots and even special parent-free excursions for kids. Babysitting is available for a fee.
