Built in 2011, the Costa Favolosa can accommodate 3,012 passengers. A family friendly ship. The fourth ship in Costa Cruises’ Concordia class. Most of the passengers are Italian mixed with a few other European nationals. With 1,508 cabins in total among these are: 103 with direct access to the spa, 594 with private balcony, 56 suites, all with balcony, 12 suites with direct access to the spa. Two grand suites comprise the largest accommodation, and include a large balcony with a hot tub. They have queen size-bed and larger living area with a vanity desk; the bathroom have a tub and two washbasins. Costa Favolosa added 6 brand new suites with private verandahs and Jacuzzis. All rooms comes equipped with a flat screen TV, minibar, personal safe, wardrobe, closet, vanity, bathroom vary in bed sizes.

The two main dining rooms are Duke of Burgundy and Duke of Orleans. Both have tables good for seating up to 8 each serving up banquet style food. In addition to the two restaurants, there are other 5 restaurants, including the Club Favolosa Restaurant and Samsara Restaurant that serves healthy options for guests, and the Ca’ d’Oro Restaurant Buffet, an Italian casual self-service restaurant. There are 13 bars, including Cognac and Cigar Bar and Coffee and Chocolate Bar.

Teatro Hortensia is the main theater on board the Costa Favolosa. It is the venue for the ship’s major shows that include musicals, dancing, laser lights and circus acts. Guest will find a large pool side movie screen, Waterslide, Camelot Piano Bar, Grand Bar Palatino that has its own dance floor and stage, Sala da Ballo Pompadur with its own bar, seating area and dance floor , Salone Moliere Lounge that host live musical entertainment, Club Cavallo Bianco popular hangout spot for teens onboard. Guest can enjoy the 4D theater, the race car simulator, and an array of other activities and venues on the ship. The Samsara Spa is a large facility that spread over two decks. It includes a large fitness room, separate saunas, steam rooms, UVA solarium, 5 jacuzzis, and 10 body treatment rooms.

A favorite for kid on the Costa Favolosa is the Lido Squok Club that features a castle turret and pirates ship to explore as well as a shallow pool with a mini slide and water features such as fish and pipes that squirt water and buckets that deposit water in the pool. Teens and adults alike will enjoy the Waterslide that is accessed from the 14th deck and end in the Lido Belvedere pool. Also available on board is the Costa Squok Club, The Mini Club for 3 to 6 year olds and the Maxi Club for 7 to 11 year olds. Both age group have their own areas where a variety of entertainment is provided from dancing, Playstation, pool games, theme parties, treasure hunts and educational games. Activities are organised by the Squok Club Staff on board Costa Favolosa. Teen Zone is also onboard for 12-17 year olds.
