Cabins on Carnival Dream are bigger than usual. The smallest inside cabin is 185 square feet and the largest is 450 square feet. A 230-square-foot deluxe cabin can accommodate up to five people while 185-square foot balcony cabins have verandahs. There is also a 345-square-foot grand suite and 275-square-foot ocean and junior suites with balcony. The “family quint” can accommodate five people. Spa cabins and suites can take advantage of spa appointments and fitness classes. Basic cabins are designed with a refreshing look while balcony cabins are spectacular yet practical. Larger suites have a 24-inch flat-screen television. All cabins have a mini-bar, toiletries such as shampoo and soap, and a good make-up mirror for retouches.

Carnival Dream offers Scarlet and Crimson fine dining with a solid red atmosphere and a Murano glass chandeliers. Up to 500 guests can take advantage of Your Time Dining from 5.45pm to 9.30pm at the upper level of Crimson. Dream is the first Carnival ship to have a designated area like this. Breakfast at Scarlet is from 8am to 10am while lunch is from noon until 1.30pm. Both dining rooms provide dinner at 6pm and 8.15pm. Hospitable staff welcome you at the dining areas. One of Dream’s specialty desserts is the warm chocolate melting cake that will lift your mood. For the steak-lovers, Chef’s Art Steakhouse is open from 6pm-9.30pm and is a tranquil place to be. Other food, bar and pub choices are the Punchliner Comedy Brunch, the Gathering, RedFrog Pub, Taste bar and Pasta bar. Burgers, pastas, pizza, seafood, fruits, desserts and other international cuisines are available.

Get ready to relax and be fit and healthy with Carnival Dream’s Cloud 9 Spa, which offers a thermal suite beautifully designed with glass mosaics completed by a thalassotherapy pool, two steam and dry heatrooms, a 7th Heaven relaxing room and a mud room. Treatments available are acupuncture, body sculpting, hot stone massage and metabolism tests. Cloud 9 Spa is one of the biggest sea spas with a fitness center that has yoga, abs attack, spinning, etc. Carnival Dream is fully equipped with spa services, two outdoor pools, 10 whirlpools and other recreational activities such as golf, basketball, volleyball, outdoor movies and concerts.

To make cruising fun for youngsters, Camp Carnival on Deck 11 is designed for ages two to 11 years. For two- to five-year-olds, thee are activities such as singing, face-painting and art projects. The higher age group gets to play with Wii and PlayStation 2. After getting tired and happy with these activities, babysitting services for ages two to 11 are available from 10pm to 3am. Price starts at $6 per hour. Teen clubs for ages 12-14 and 15-17 are on Deck 4 and accessible from 5pm until 1am. Game shows, Wii competitions, internet stations, dance parties, music-listening stations, air hockey and more can be enjoyed by teens.
