Good news and bad news… What do you want to hear first?
Unfortunately, due to rough seas, we couldn’t get off SeaDream I in Sicily this morning! The yacht anchored early but the swells were too big for our tenders to get us to the shore – such a shame because Jackson and I had booked to do the SeaDream Yacht Club Sicily Land Adventure, which was climbing to the top of Mount Etna (the volcano). Not every day you get to do that and we were excited at the prospect!
On the upside, the captain announced we would be making our way to Valetta, Malta, earlier than scheduled, meaning we get today to enjoy the yacht at sea and we will be docked in Malta overnight.
At 12.00pm the SeaDream I crew put on a fashion show outside on the pool deck. They were modelling the collection from the SeaDream Yacht Boutique and their strutting had all the passengers laughing and cheering!
We also caught news that the SeaDream Spa was offering a 20 per cent discount for today only and so, after a game of chess in the library, we booked to have a 50-minute Swedish Massage. Bliss!
