Pacific Jewel had plenty to choose from in the way of bars, entertainment and restaurants. The included-dining was excellent and we never felt the need to splash out on the premium places.
I loved the fairly small and uncrowded nature of the ship. It was a long TransPacific cruise and we seemed to not have any noisy kids or distractions. The cabin was roomy with a nice balcony.
Service aboard the Silver Discoverer is exceptional and very personalised but not pretentious. The ship and the cabin appointed was very nice considering it is an expedition ship.
Service aboard the Diamond Princess was excellent. I always felt special and cared for. Ship was huge with many activities to suite people's interests.
The service provided by all Carnival Spirit staff was excellent. The shows and entertainment were excellent from the hypnotist through to the comedy acts and the band on the pool deck.
The Oceania Marina Eastern Mediterranean cruise was our first experience. Marina cabins are that much larger to take away the squeeze feel. We tried all of the restaurants and all excelled in their theme cusine.
Service aboard Radiance of the Seas was perfect from cabin staff to restaurant staff to bar staff. Formal dining was exquisite as well as the specialty dining we tried.
The harbour festivities I would definitely recommend but the overall P & O ship experience was just very average to poor. Pacific Eden needs a lot of work to bring her up to an acceptable standard.
The service on the ship was great, including catering to my special dietary requirements. There were lots of different activities to suit a broad range of interests, including music trivia, dance lessons, bingo, theme nights and theatre shows.
I love the Princess Cruises package especially on the larger ships, which provide the most venues across the ship for almost all activities be it dining, entertainment, swimming and deck activities.
I would highly recommend this ship. You could be assured of a very relaxing and wonderful cruise experience. The ship was well designed although an older one but this seems to be in its favour as there was more living space.
Overall I felt that the cruise on the Golden Princess offers excellent value for money. The staff are exemplary and the standard of service in all departments is highly professional. Cabin was spacious and well appointed.
The Norwegian Star crew were very, very good from the steward to the drinks waiters. I prefer anytime dining to the market style but the food was good everywhere and themed nights (German, Indian, chocolate nights etc) were awesome.
Hear the hilarious stories of life aboard the world's most luxurious fleet, including how nine men "mooned" BON VOYAGE from the San Francisco Bridge as the ship set out to sea.
