Viking is expanding its expeditions to the Arctic region, home of the polar bear and an area previously unchartered by the cruise line’s two new adventure ships.
The line has just released its 2023 – 2025 expedition brochure, revealing all the adventures that Viking Octanis and Viking Polaris will be taking.

The new sailings
13-day Into the Northwest Passage
As guests are taken out to the worlds largest island they’ll also experience an immersion Inuit culture and tradition, strolling through small towns lined with colourful coastal houses. Zodiac landings and kayaking expeditions will take guests right up to towering glaciers on this roundtrip from Nuuk. Sailing dates available between July and September 2025.
15-day Canada & Greenland Explorer
This journey from Toronto to Nuuk takes guests through the landscapes of Canada and Greenland, also with insights into Inuit culture along the way. Sailing dates are available between July and September 2025.
27-day  Canada & the Northwest Passage
Combine the best of the two journeys on this epic 27-day itinerary. You’ll get the Canadian High Arctic and Greenland, a look into Inuit communities and peaks and glaciers of the Northwest passage. You can sail in July or September 2025.
