Two Azamara ships to meet in Sydney Harbour in 2025

Azamara Onward and Azamara Pursuit will meet in Sydney Harbour in 2025. It is the first time the line has deployed two ships into the region.

The small boutique line has also seen such a high demand for world cruises, that they have added two additional sailings.

This comes as Azamara Onward’s 2024 world cruise, which has just set sail, is completely sold out.

This February when Azamard Onward crosses paths with sister ship Azamara Journey, this will mark the first time Azamara has had two ships simultaneously deployed in Australasia.

Victoria Chigwidden, Azamara’s Director of Sales in Australia/New Zealand, says, “It is wonderful to have two of our beautiful ships in local waters this year and their cruises have been extremely popular.

“I’m also thrilled to announce that in 2025, Azamara Onward and Azamara Pursuit will sail into Sydney Harbour together. It’s another first for our much-loved cruise line.”

Azamara Onward’s newly announced world cruises are promised to feature extra ports of call and fare inclusions worth up to $25,000. There will be of course, the cruise line’s trademark ‘AzAmazing Celebrations’.

Where does the world voyage visit?

The 2025 world voyage ties plenty of visits to lesser-visited gems of the South Pacific. The voyage also features an extended two-night stay in Bangkok. There are options to head out to Chiang Mai, Lai, or ‘the Venice of Java’, Semarang in Indonesia.

For 2026, guests can look forward to attractions like the wonder of the world Chichen Itza in Mexico, a three-night stay in Beijing to explore the Great Wall of China, and an exclusive tour of the Colosseum in Rome.

Both cruises wrap in 55 late-night departures, 60 extended destination days, three exclusive world cruise events. There also be 10 signature AzAmazing events.

Azamara Onward’s 155-night, 2025 voyage starts in San Diego on January 6 and finishes in Southampton on June 11, 2025.

The 2026 World Cruise departs Miami on January 6, 2026, and will arrive in Barcelona 155 nights later, on June 11, 2026. Guests can book the full voyage or choose from any of the 10 segments in 2025 and 2026.
