Three more Princess ships receive their Ocean Medallions

The futuristic guest experience of the MedallionClass will be rolling out on the Royal Princess, Crown Princess and Sky Princess throughout 2019.

Royal Princess will receive the technology in April, with Crown Princess following in July. The Ocean Medallion will come onboard Sky Princess in October.

The complimentary smart wearable device has features such as a keyless stateroom entry, on demand beverage delivery throughout the ship, Wi-Fi with land-like speeds and smart payment feature, MedallionPay.

The three Princess ships receive their high-tech Ocean Medallion after a successful introduction in Caribbean Princess and Regal Princess.

“Guests are finding their vacations enhanced with Princess Medallion Class on Caribbean Princess as a new and memorable experience, and we’re ready to offer these experiences and personalized services to even more of our guests, including everyone who sails with us in the Caribbean in the fall and winter,” said Jan Swartz, president of Princess Cruises.

Other sailings that will bring the MedallionClass experience to new groups for the first time include destinations like Alaska and Mexico.

Royal Princess will be the first MedallionClass ship sailing in Alaska.

Platinum and Elite loyalty members will get to enjoy free Wi-Fi with the Medallion. It is available at an extra cost to other guests.
