Luxury cruise line Silversea has unveiled its 2019/20 itineraries with its latest ship, the Silver Muse spending more than four months in Australia and New Zealand.
It’s the biggest season for the Italian cruise line Down Under with highlight voyages including a 14-day journey from Sydney to Auckland visiting Melbourne, Tasmania, Dunedin, Christchurch, Picton and Tauranga. The stunning ship is also sailing on a 13-day voyage that visits New Caledonia, Fiji and Vanuatu.
Silversea also announced 10 inaugural port calls to destinations like the picturesque city of Timaru in New Zealand, with its lovely botanical gardens and bluestone buildings, Fiji’s volcanic Dravuni Island and the lushly forested Cayman Brac in the Cayman Islands.

The line has also released its World Cruise which departs Fort Lauderdale on January 6,2020 onboard the Silver Whisper. The 140-day voyage includes 32 countries and 62 ports. Heading south, Silver Whisper will sail through the sunny Caribbean to the captivating east coast cities of South America to reach the amazing Antarctic Peninsula. After heading north to Valparaiso, a westward course will take her to the mystical Easter Island, enchanting South Pacific isles, and magnificent Australia. Next, guests will explore many exotic Asian gems, including Bali, Sri Lanka, and Mumbai, before continuing to the storied ports of the Mediterranean and Northern Europe.
For Aussies looking to travel to Asia, the Silver Muse will be visiting China and Japan where you’ll see the stunning sights of Osaka, Beijing and Shanghai.
And on the Silver Spirit, there is a 14-day sailing from Singapore to Hong Kong with calls to Ko Samui, Chan May, Ha Long Bay and Ho Chi Minh City.
Silversea also today announced that Adam Armstrong, formerly the Associate Vice President and Managing Director of Royal Caribbean in Australia and New Zealand, will be the new Managing Director of the company.
