Silversea has added another two Grand Voyages for 2024 which range from 66 to 43 days, covering a range of countries and new ports.
Silversea’s Grand Voyages differ from their usual sailings by being longer in duration and having carefully curated experiences to give guests the most enriching and enthralling sailings possible.
One of the new voyages is The Grand Voyage Mediterranean 2024, which will make its way through 34 ports, across 13 countries and 43 days.
This cruise will leave out of Lisbon on October 4, 2024, with guests enjoying the luxury of Silver Spirit. Guests will see all sorts of regions and ports including the Iberian Peninsula, Monaco, Croatia, Israel, Barcelona, Monte Carlo and so much more. There are also overnight stays for extra immersion in destinations such as Cadiz, Alexandria, Naples and Jerusalem.
The Grand Indian Ocean Expedition 2024 has also been announced for part of Silver Cloud’s 2024 program. This cruise will tick off 45 destinations and 12 countries across 66 days.
Beginning in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) in South Africa on April 4, 2024, the cruise will make its way right across the Indian Ocean to Darwin.
The special experiences actually begin before you even get on the ship, with a two-night pre-cruise stay in Shamwari, a private game reserve in South Africa. From here, you’ll get on Silver Cloud and can look forward to the jungles of Madagascar, snorkelling in the Maldives, UNESCO site Kilwa Kisiwani in Tanzania, the blue waters of Seychelles, sailing through the Kimberley, and much more.
