Sail the Mekong with chef Luke Nguyen

APT is offering an exclusive cruise on the mighty Mekong River with celebrity chef Luke Nguyen to experience authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

Guests will spend two weeks exploring Vietnam, including seven-nights cruising the Mekong River aboard the brand new Mekong Serenity and six-nights in five-star hotels.

The first three nights will be spent in Ho Chi Minh City at Park Hyatt Saigon before embarking on the 92m long, 44 suite Mekong Serenity and then finally spending the last three nights at the Hotel Sofitel Angkor in Phnom Penh.

The luxury expedition will offer the opportunity to not only eat an authentic Vietnamese degustation menu with matching wines at Luke Nguyen’s Vietnam House, but also meet the extended Nguyen family during a tour of Old-Saigon and eat at a restaurant recommended by Luke.

The acclaimed chef and author will also host a cooking class at GRAIN by Luke Nguyen, in Ho Chi Minh City, teaching the fundamentals of Vietnamese cooking as well as the culture and history behind each dish.

The 14-day Luke Nguyen’s Vietnam & Mekong River Cruise departs on November 26 2021 and is priced from $8,095 per person, twin share, including a discount of $1,200 when booking prior to 28 February 2021.

The elegantly appointed Mekong Serenity features nightly entertainment including traditional Apsara dance performances, as well as air-conditioned Harmony Lounge and Bar, Serenity Spa, salon, fitness centre, an expansive sun deck, spacious swimming pool, complimentary WiFi throughout the entire ship, and complimentary laundry service of two garments per person each day.

APT trips are operating under the APT Travel Group’s COVID Flexible Booking Cover to provide additional assurance should the itinerary be suspended or cancelled. The flexible cover means only a $500 deposit is needed and changes can be made up to 65 days before departure when the full amount must be paid.
