Royal Caribbean will return to China in April 2024, with Spectrum of the Seas set to sail out of Shanghai from April 2024. Spectrum of the Seas will have a range of four and five-night cruises available, with cruises visiting popular ports like Fukuoka, Okinawa, Nagasaki, Osaka and Tokyo.
Following the season out of Shanghai, Spectrum will pivot to Hong Kong. This will begin an eight sailing season with visits to ports such as Ishigaki, Miyazaki, Taiwan, Nha Trang and more.
Spectrum of the Seas is purpose-built for Asian sailings, with cuisine and entertainment onboard predominantly Asian-themed. You can expect restaurants like Hot Pot, Teppanyaki, Sichuan Red, as well recreation and entertainment like the Star Moment karaoke lounge and original production Show Girls.

“Our return to China is an exciting milestone that could only be marked with Spectrum of the Seas, which became a household name with Chinese families and travellers alike when it debuted in Shanghai as the latest and greatest Royal Caribbean ship in 2019.”
Anthem of the Seas will also be sailing out of Asia, with the ship set to make its first journey to Asia. Anthem will sail out of Singapore, beginning in late 2024.
