All Royal Caribbean International and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH) brands have extended their suspension of sailings through the end of July. The Scenic Group has also suspended Scenic Eclipse sailings up to September 2020.
The four brands under RCI: Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, Azamara and Silversea have extended the suspension of most sailings through July 31, 2020, with the exception of sailings from China, which will be suspended through the end of June.
“We are working with our guests and travel partners to address this disruption to their vacations, and we are genuinely sorry for their inconvenience. We expect to return to service on August 1,” says Royal Caribbean.
Norwegian Cruise Line and other brands of NCLH like Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises have also suspended sailings with embarkation dates through July 31, 2020.
The announcement puts the lines on par with other major lines who have also cancelled sailings for July and beyond like Carnival, Princess and P&O.
The group has also halted sailings about the ultra luxury expedition yacht Scenic Eclipse through to September 30, 2020. Their river and land tour operations with Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours, Emerald Cruises and Evergreen Cruises & Tours brands have also been suspended till August 31, 2020.
The Scenic Group is offering booked guests flexible Future Travel Credits valued at 110 per cent of monies paid on any affected river and ocean cruise booking and 100 per cent of monies paid on any affected land tours, including Egypt.
