Loyal guests of one of the world’s most luxurious lines, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, have swamped telephone lines and reserved their suites on the 150-night world cruise in 2025 – with Regent selling out in record time.
Paying $115,810 pp for a deluxe veranda suite and up to $336,080 pp for a master suite, past guests simply booked out all cabins before the line officially opened for bookings on 15 June. This is the fourth year running that Regent has sold out its world cruise in record time – last year, guests grabbed all the available suites in just three hours.

Guests who were not fast enough have now signed up to be on Regent’s wait list for the longest cruise in the line’s 30-year history.
“We have received unprecedented interest in this sailing and this phenomenal booking record shows once again that people, just like the world itself, are now open to travel and are not going to wait around and let opportunities pass them by,” said Jason Montague, President and CEO of Regent.
“It is remarkable that luxury travellers continue to sign up, or want to remain on the waitlist, in case some guests cancel their reservation between now and the sailing in two and a half years’ time – people simply want to explore as much as possible.”
Regent’s 2025 World Cruise – Away in Wonder – aboard Seven Seas Mariner departs on 7 January, 2025, from Miami to San Francisco and discovers incredible destinations in South America, the South Pacific, Australia and New Zealand, Asia and Alaska. Guests will sail three oceans, visiting 97 ports of call in 25 countries on five continents and will cover 36,295 nautical miles over more than five months.
Regent has curated incredible experiences on land for luxury travellers to enjoy from 395 included shore excursions to 16 in-port overnight stays allowing for extended exploration of fascinating locales including Rio de Janeiro; Bora Bora and Ho Chi Minh City.
The itinerary will also include access to 48 UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Rapa Nui National Park from Hanga Roa on Easter Island and the historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto from Osaka, Japan.
Those who feel that five months cruising the world is not enough, have also signed up for an additional 18-night sailing, with almost 200 guests taking this option. The additional voyage will cruise the Mexican Riviera from San Francisco to Miami, visiting Costa Rica, Colombia and a full transit through the Panama Canal.
To appease loyal guests who have missed out on the 150-night world cruise in 2025, Mr Montague said that Regent will open early reservation requests on 7 July for its 2024-2025 Legendary Journeys Collection which offer even longer sailings of up to 83 nights spanning the Arctic, Asia, Australia and the Mediterranean.
The 2025 world cruise onboard the luxury Seven Seas Mariner will only be able to accommodate 732 guests in its spacious and stylish suites.
