Record sales in one day for Oceania Cruises’ 2024 Collection of Voyages

Oceania Cruises, the luxury line with the Finest Cuisine at Sea, has scored its best single-day bookings in the company’s history when it launched the sales campaign for its 2024 Collection of voyages last week.

The line’s 35-day circumnavigation of Australia was the best seller with more than 60 per cent of cabins/suites sold in one day. This was followed by Asian destinations, South America and Northern Europe itineraries on the 1,238-guest Marina which performed exceptionally well.

The luxury line’s sale of 350 itineraries spanning the world in its 2024 Collection attracted overwhelming demand from past guests as well as those who are new-to-the-brand. They were prepared to book back-to-back cruises two years in advance and were particularly attracted by the line’s unique destination-rich itineraries. About one-third of transactions came from first-time guests; an additional one-third of transactions were bookings for at least two voyages and the line’s 130 Grand Voyages performed well.

“The 2024 Collection launch illustrates tremendous and continued strong demand for cruising in addition to highlighting the increased trend in planning travel further out, both for past guests and new-to-brand guests,” said Howard Sherman, President & CEO of Oceania Cruises.

Oceania Cruises opened its 2024 Collection of voyages for sale to the general public on 5 May 2022 offering more than 350 journeys ranging from seven to 82 days and spanning from October 2023 to December 2024.

Guests were attracted by the expert curated experiences aboard the designed-inspired, boutique ships which will visit more than 450 marquee ports across Europe, Alaska, Asia, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, New England-Canada, Bermuda, the Caribbean, the Panama Canal, Tahiti and the South Pacific. The line’s epic 180-day Around the World voyages were also well sought-after.
