Celebrity Solstice review by Meredith Sturman

What you loved most

The wide variety of food available on board. The three great specialty restaurants supplement the included restaurants so there was no chance of becoming bored with the food on a longer cruise. We also loved the lawn club for games, wine and cheese while watching the sunset.

What you liked least

The removal of Celebrity brunch. We used to look forward to that on each cruise.

Who would most enjoy this cruise?

Young and middle-aged couples that like to swim and snorkel. There are a lot of sea days so they can relax or join in on the activities onboard.

Would you recommend it to your friends and family?

Absolutely, the Celebrity Solstice is our favourite ship.

Describe your overall experience.

Everything about Celebrity Solstice is classy. It has gorgeous public spaces, fabulous restaurants, spacious and well-appointed cabins and professional friendly staff.

A balcony cabin on Solstice is worth it if you are cruising in warmer weather as the balcony is large enough to have a full dining set so you can enjoy room service breakfast. And we love the sail away drinks which we enjoy with friends. Or it’s simply a great ship to relax on with a good book.

We love the 1-2-3 go drinks package inclusion and try to book our next cruise onboard to get further perks like cabin upgrades. The Celebrity cast shows are spectacular with acrobats and great singers and dancers. It’s hard to believe you are on a cruise ship with all this great entertainment.
