P&O Australia’s newest member Pacific Adventure is ready to hit the water

Pacific Adventure, the newest member of P&O Cruises Australia now three-strong fleet has emerged from dry dock in style, with plans to be homeported in Sydney. 

P&O Cruises Australia President Sture Myrmell said Pacific Adventure joining Pacific Encounter and Pacific Explorer in P&O’s Fleet is a significant milestone for the cruise line.

“Making Pacific Adventure a proud member of the P&O cruising family is the latest exciting stage in our fleet transformation enabling us to offer our guests even more wonderful ways to holiday at sea,” Mr Myrmell said.

Once cruising is given the all-clear, Pacific Adventure will be homeported in Sydney and will run cruises for vaccinated Australians to visit other Australian Ports. 

A large team of designers and contractors worked to make sure Pacific Adventure is beautiful both inside and out, with all 109,000 tonnes of her precisely sculpted for guests pleasure.

On the exterior, a sweeping Southern Cross livery marks her bow and on the interior, foodies will be pleased to know there’s a range of new dining experiences designed for guests to indulge in.

The usual suspects of P&O’s classic restaurant trio, Angelo’s, Dragon Lady and The Waterfront are all there, but a range of new dining experiences have also been designed with the help of Australian Chef and restaurateur Luke Mangan and acclaimed Melbourne-based chef Johnny Di Francesco. There are plenty more details to arrive on these.

“We can’t wait to show Pacific Adventure off to our guests and to again welcome everyone on board our magnificent three-ship fleet,” Mr Myrmell said. 

“Throughout the pause in operations, we have never lost sight of our ultimate goal of transforming our fleet to continue P&O’s unparalleled leadership of cruising in our region.”
