Oceania Cruises launches Aquamar Spa fleetwide

Oceania Cruises is following stable mate Regent Seven Seas in ending the decade long partnership with Canyon Ranch spa and introducing a new spa experience that is created entirely in-house.

The Aquamar spa will be introduced across their fleet this summer and it will reach Australian shores in January 2020. The line says that the spa will extend well beyond a traditional spa, offering a complete and original collection of holistic wellness encounters both on board and ashore.

The highlights include rejuvenating treatments like the Restorative Himalayan Salt Stone massage, the Aquamar Vitality Cuisine as well as Wellness Discovery Tours by Aquamar.

The line is pampering guests with wellness experiences onshore with tours to Bangkok’s reflexologists, yoga and meditation in Chile’s boutique winery to discovering apitherapy in Spain.

For the Aquamar Vitality Cuisine, guests can enjoy it in the Grand Dining Room and is offered in addition to their extensive plant-based and vegetarian menu.

Guests can also access complimentary fitness classes including yoga, pilates, cycling and circuit training at the Vitality Center.

The Aquamar Spa + Vitality Center will be rolled out to three ships in December: Riviera (December 5), Sirena (December 7) and Nautica (also December 7). The spa will then launch in 2020 on Regatta (January 6), Insignia (January 8) and Marina (January 22).

Regatta will be receiving her spa update in the middle of the Australian season.

The ship will debut the new spa when she sets off on a 14-day ‘Outrageous Outback’ voyage from Sydney to New Zealand on January 6.

Guests can also sample the new spa on the Regatta before she leaves local waters on February 17, 2020.

  1. We have been traveling on Oceania Riviera several times and have complained repeatedly about Canyon Ranch. There stone heating lounges are so uncomfortable it actually hurts to lay on them. I have written letters to the cruise line after the last two cruises. I hope the new lounges will be similar to the ones on the NCL cruises. There spa is terrific very top notch. We have actually booked three cruises on NCL because of the spa situation. Although we have booked a back to back on Oceania Riviera starting Nov 15th but we will not be able to check out the comfort of the spa, hopefully it will be similar to to NCL cruises. The food and the staff are great.
