Norwegian Cruise Line releases Australian prices

Prices have been released for Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Jewel, the first ship from the company to be homeported in Australia.
NCL’s prices are similar to other homeported lines like Royal Caribbean and Princess Cruises, and indeed slightly cheaper than Royal Caribbean’s Ovation of the Seas.
Itineraries and prices are now available for departures from Sydney’s Overseas Passenger Terminal, which will be her home from October 2017.
Cruises range from five to 18 days and will call at a number of destinations around Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.
A five-day Tasmanian cruise from Sydney and calling at Burnie and Hobart in Tasmania is priced from $787 per person, twin share.
While a 13-day Australia and New Zealand cruise which calls at Melbourne and Burnie then sails to Wellington, Napier, Tauranga, Auckland and Bay of Islands, priced from $1,707 per person, twin share.
The most expensive is an 18-night cruise to Southeast Asia is priced from $1,838 per person, twin share and the cruise will call at Newcastle, Brisbane, Airlie Beach, Cairns and Darwin before sailing to Komodo, Bali and Semarang in Indonesia.
Comparing NCL with Royal Caribbean, a five-night Tasmanian cruise onboard Ovation of the Seas is priced from $980.86 per person, twin share. While a five night Tasmanian cruise onboard the Dawn Princess is priced from $749 per person, twin share. To visit NCL’s new website, click here.
