Four Carnival Spirit DIY cocktails

Back from your cruise and missing those Happy Hour cocktails? We know the feeling…
So Carnival Australia has assembled four brand new recipes from its upcoming Alchemy Bar, which will be launched on the Carnival Spirit in August.
The Alchemy Bar is part of Carnival Australia’s $44 million upgrade on the Spirit which will also include changes to food and entertainment.
These delicious concoctions were created by Eddie Allen, one of America’s top mixologists from Tower Night Club in Las Vegas.

Cucumber Sunrise
60ml Belvedere Vodka
30ml fresh lime juice
30ml Monin Watermelon Syrup
20ml fresh orange juice
2 cucumber wheels

Mix sliced cucumber with the fresh lime juice in a shaker. Add ice and the remaining ingredients and shake vigorously. Double strain into a highball glass full of ice and garnish with a cucumber wheel.

The Antioxidant
45ml Belvedere Vodka
15ml Aperol
30ml Monin Tangerine Syrup
25ml fresh lime juice
25ml fresh orange juice

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a highball glass with fresh ice and garnish with an orange slice.

Deal Closer
30ml Absolut Vanilla Vodka
30ml Irish Cream
15ml Disarrono Amaretto
15ml chocolate liqueur
15ml chocolate syrup

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice and garnish with shaved chocolate.

French Kiss
30ml Absolute Vanilla Vodka
15ml Chambord
5ml fresh lime juice
120ml Sparkling Wine

Combine the Absolut Vanilla and Chambord in a mixing glass with ice. Stir for 30 seconds and strain into a champagne flute. Gently top with sparkling wine.
