Get a sneak peek of new spa and fitness amenities on board Carnival Splendor, including the first Cloud 9 Spa and accommodation in Australia.
The ship is set to be Carnival’s newest and largest ship, homeported year-round in Australia in December 2019. Australians after some R&R will be “spoilt for choice”, says the line.

The Cloud 9 Spa spans two decks and features more than a dozen treatment rooms, exclusive spa staterooms, a thermal suite and thalassotherapy pool as well as an expansive gym and fitness centre.
Cruisers on Carnival Splendor will get to indulge in a skin-refining facial, soak in the heated Thalassotherapy Pool or rest on one of the ergonomically-shaped heated loungers.
The ship features over 60 exclusive spa staterooms and suites that offer guests private access to the spa, complimentary access to the Thermal Suite and Thalassotherapy Pool for the first two guests of each stateroom and suite, two yoga or Pilates classes and special spa packages and discounts.
These staterooms and suites also offer additional in-room, spa-related amenities and décor in harmony with the relaxing theme of Cloud 9 Spa.
At the Thermal Suite on board Carnival Splendor, guests can tailor their spa experience with an mixture of dry heat and high-humidity areas including a Laconium, Tepidarium, Caldarium (Oriental Steam Bath) and Aroma Steam/Aromatic Grotto.
A glass dome encloses the Thalassotherapy Pool and guests can alleviate arthritic pain and soothe sore muscles in the saltwater oasis which features water-jets.
Access these facilities with a day pass or access-pass for the entire length of the cruise.
The fully equipped gym and fitness centre also offer Pilates, yoga and spin classes as well as complimentary stretch classes morning, noon and evening, available for all guests.
