Feel the magic of French Polynesia on board boutique, luxe Le Paul Gauguin

Not often do you get an invitation to go on a Chairman’s cruise on board the small, luxury ship, Le Paul Gauguin to experience the magic of French Polynesia.

Ponant’s Asia Pacific chairman, Sarina Bratton has just picked an 11-night cruise sailing to Tahiti, the Society Islands and the Tuamotus onboard the 330-passenger Le Paul Gauguin as her annual Chairman’s cruise.

The cost? Starting at $9600 per person for the pleasure of the company of Ms Bratton and Asia Pacific expedition manager Mick Fogg during the Papeete to Papeete itinerary departing on 4 June this year.

The exclusive cruise has been specially curated to give passengers the sheer experience of sailing through idyllic islands and atolls helmed by stunning clear-water lagoons and unbelievable coral reefs.

This will be the first time we are able to showcase the magnificence of the boutique ship since Paul Gauguin Cruises was acquired by the French luxury line, Ponant in 2019, Ms Bratton said.

For cruisers who love swimming, sailing, paddle-boarding and snorkelling, they will be blown away by the spectacular lagoons, diverse marine life, pristine beaches and dynamic Tahitian culture.

French Polynesia’s crystal clear waters

There will be shore excursions to explore Rangiroa’s amazing marine life in the Tuamotu Islands; learn about pearl cultivation at Rangiroa’s Black Pearl Farm and spend an afternoon of sheer leisure on the private island of Motu Mahana.

The  cruise will also call at Moorea and Bora Bora known for its lush rainforests and pristine lagoons.

The newly renovated Le Paul Gauguin has been designed to sail in Polynesian waters as her shallow draught allows her to enter shallow lagoons.
