Dream Cruises to help local tourism with end of year sailings

Dream Cruises, Asia’s premium cruise line has revealed some new offers to help reinvigorate the local travel industry.

While the cruise line has halted operations temporarily, Dream Cruises believe that the local travel business in Australia will be in need of a massive boost.

“Australian travellers and our New Zealand neighbours are very resilient, and we are certain that when the time is right, they will be ready and eager to travel and support the local tourism sector once more.

“Now more than ever we need to support each other. We are thinking of you and wishing you all the very best as we navigate this difficult time together.”

The Explorer Dream will be returning to Australia and New Zealand at the end of the year for the local wave season.

“We deliberated over whether to withdraw in light of the current coronavirus pandemic. However, the sale has now been revised and reinvigorated, with the aim of providing a much-needed boost for local travel businesses in need. As such, we have decided to continue our involvement, with the intention to support our industry partners,” said the line in a statement.

“While operations for the Dream Cruises fleet have been temporarily suspended (as with the whole cruise industry), we are confident the industry will recover from this.
