Dream Cruises heads to Newcastle during Sydney homeport

Dream Cruises, Asia’s first premium line, reveals additional Australian itineraries for 2019, featuring the line’s first homeported ship in Sydney.

The line will also offer new short itineraries in the east coast as well as a call to Newcastle.

The Explorer Dream will be homeported at Sydney’s White Bay Cruise Terminal and she will be making her first departure from Sydney on October 27.

Explorer Dream was just launched last month after an extensive refit and is the third and latest addition to the Dream Cruises fleet, with 928 cabins and lower berth capacity of 1,856 passengers.

In addition to the seven-night coastal cruises to Queensland and Tasmania, the line is also now offering short itineraries that range from two to five-nights.

The short itineraries include one-way and weekend cruises from Brisbane, Newcastle and Sydney. The line also has a new seven-night Newcastle roundtrip sailing on November 25.

The line will be sailing four-night cruise departing 4 November 2019 from Newcastle to Brisbane (via Gladstone and the Sunshine Coast) and a seven-night round-trip from Newcastle on 25 November 2019, visiting Gladstone, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Sydney.

Fares start from AU$286 per person twin share for a two-night cruise from Brisbane to Sydney.
