Princess Cruises announces longest world cruise
To celebrate 10 years of world cruises from Australia, Princess Cruises announced today it will be hosting a world cruise in 2018. The 106-night voyage visits 27 countries including a range of new ports across Greenland, Newfoundland and Eastern Canada. It will also visit popular destinations like New York, Barcelona and Venice. The cruise is priced from $21,999 per person, twin share.
Happy Halloween with Carnival
It’s Halloween this weekend and Carnival Cruise Line will be celebrating onboard the Carnival Spirit and Carnival Legend which are both in the South Pacific. The ships have been decked out in Halloween decorations and there will be a costume party, themed movies, trick or treating and a menu to die for including witches brew bubbling at the bar, spider snacks and more.
Extreme ski cruising

The Scenic route
It started with coach tours, but today Australia’s Scenic is a global empire soon to launch into ocean adventure yachting. The Newcastle company’s milestone was marked with a Sydney party where founder Glen Moroney’s amazing ideas – from the world’s first two-door coach to Scenic SpaceShip river cruises with balconies – were celebrated. Some 1,600 Australians work for Scenic, which has 13 ships in Europe, two in Asia along with a number of ocean charters.
For those who like riddles
A new 16-night luxury cruise will have passengers guessing where they are going, as they will be asked to sign up without information about their destinations, stop-over ports and connecting flights. The Secret Sailaway cruise, from Britain’s Bolsover Cruise Club, hides the cruise itinerary in 10 riddles. Travellers will receive details on where, when and what ship to board on arrival at the departure point of the 16-night trip. The cruise costs $19,770 per person, departs on March 18 next year and will visit six destinations. It includes “five-star stop-overs in some of the world’s best hotels.” Good luck!
