Coral Expeditions has released four new 2024 dates for sailings to the small islands of Japan and The Philippines onboard Coral Adventurer.
After strong bookings since announcing their 2023 Japan and Philippines sailings, the line has now confirmed a follow-up season for 2024.
Commercial Director Jeff Gillies says the itineraries were born from having a customer base who have often already sailed to local key expedition destinations such as The Kimberley or Great Barrier Reef and are searching for something truly different.
The four new dates are all repeat itineraries of the scheduled 2023 sailings, meaning the cruise line will have a year to make any little tweaks to further enhance your sailing experience.
The sailings include a 14-night sailing from Guam to Tokyo, with a focus on World War II History, the stunning marine environments on the surrounding small islands, and the chance to be among the first visitors to more remote Japanese islands such as Chichijima and Mukujima.
This then carries onto 16-nights venturing through Japan’s Ryukyu Islands, where cruisers will become some of the first to step foot on the Ryukyu islands, stroll through the UNESCO-listed thousand-year cedar forests, try glassmaking on Naha Island, and lots more.
The next sailing runs over two weeks from Tokyo to Fukuoka, where guests will gaze over coastal villages, dive deep into Japanese and also get the big city experience in Osaka and Kyoto.
The final option shifts across to the Philippines, with a 16-night sailing from Keelung to Manila. As with all the voyages, you can expect a plethora of diving, snorkelling, and swimming, you’ll feast on local delicacies in the humble town of Maripipi, visit the beaches and caves of the UNESCO-listed Catanduanes, swim with manta rays in Ticao and much more.
