Coming soon to your cruise ship – a submarine!

Once, you just got a snorkel and flippers.  Now, a Dutch-based company has launched three new luxury submarines which will be made specifically for cruise companies.

U-Boat Worx have designed Cruise Sub 5, 7 and 9 – two of which will be the deepest-diving submarines ever built.

Cruise lines like Star Cruises and Crystal Esprit were the first to pioneer the idea of submersibles for their guests with The Taipan and the Crystal Esprit now offering the excursion to their guests.

Depending on the model, it can carry five, seven or nine persons per trip and is capable of diving up to 3,740ft.

The interior can revolve inside the sphere which means passengers can get the best view of the sea floor at all times.
