Carnival announces “Fashions on the Splendour” Melbourne cup cruise

Sail from Sydney to catch both Lexus Melbourne Cup Day and Kennedy Oaks Day from just $139 per night.

“Fashions on the Splendour”, which sets sail on October 30, will be hosted by media personality and entrepreneur Jules Robinson, who first came to prominence in the entertainment industry after appearing in Married at First Sight in 2019. She has since been an influencer in the fashion industry.

The ship will cruise roundtrip from Sydney, returning on November 5. The Splendour will dock in Melbourne where guests can attend the Lexus Melbourne Cup Day on Tuesday, November 1 and Kennedy Oaks Day on Thursday, November 3.

Ms Robinson will showcase the latest collection from her newly launched fashion label, Moira Muse, in an inclusive fashion parade that will feature models of all shapes and sizes including Joanna Bartley and Kate Cooper.

Excited about the upcoming cruise, Ms Robinson said “The Melbourne Cup Carnival is one of the biggest events in Australian fashion and I’m extremely excited to be celebrating in a brand-new way, with Carnival Cruise Line!”

“I’m looking forward to showcasing the latest that Moira Muse and Figur has to offer, being a part of the styling workshop and, of course, judging the amazing fashion onboard being featured in the guest parade.”

Guests onboard will have the opportunity to attend a workshop led by personal stylist Naomi Bell where they can learn how to incorporate Jules’ Figur shapewear into their wardrobe.

With more than 20 years of experience in the industry under her belt, Ms Bell will help guests create their dream outfits based on their personal style, body shape and colours.

There will also be fashion offerings for men onboard.

Leading suit hire destination, Mr Fierze will show off its newest range of affordable suits and formal wear.

Award-winning milliner Serena Lindeman will once again bring her popular fascinator workshop and showcase her latest designs in the onboard Cup with Carnival parade.

Carnival Cruise Line Vice President Kara Glamore shared the excitement and said “after a two-year pause, our return to ‘the race that stops a nation™’ is fantastic news for both fashion and cruise fans alike.”

“The next few months will be packed with fun-filled celebrations including the return of Carnival Splendor, our 10th Australian birthday, our Lexus Melbourne Cup and Kennedy Oaks Day cruise, and of course, the arrival of Carnival Luminosa in Brisbane.

“We can’t wait to come home and bring the fun back to our shores.”

Ready to book? Prices for Carnival’s Melbourne Cup cruise start at $834 per person, twin share, in an interior stateroom.
