Brilliance of the Seas begins its journey to Australia

Brilliance of the Seas is officially Australia-bound. The Royal Caribbean ship has begun a 10-night cruise from Vancouver to Honolulu, and from there will sail a South Pacific and New Zealand itinerary before arriving in Sydney.

The 17-night South Pacific itinerary sails to Tahiti, Moorea and Raiatea, in French Polynesia, as well as Bay of Islands and Auckland, in New Zealand.

For passengers looking for last-minute cruise, Brilliance of the Seas sails from Hawaii to Sydney on October 4, with 17-nights of sailing starting from $999.

The Radiance-class ship will then arrive Sydney on October 22, where it will homeport before sailing a range of itineraries.

Top sailing picks

If you’re after something shorter, this five-night Tasmania roundtrip out of Sydney departs on March 30, 2024 and starts from just $970.

At the other end of the spectrum is an 18-night All Out Australia and New Zealand sailing, leaving on March 1. Interiors are already sold out and outside view cabins start from $8107.

For a classic New Zealand sailing, on February 2 guests can sail on 12-night roundtrip out of Sydney, starting from just $1516.

To rather head up to Queensland, an 11-night Great Barrier Reef cruise departing on December 8, starts from $1599.

If you prefer a quick escape to the sunny South Pacific, this eight-night sailing starts from $1566, departing on January 19.
