Azamara Quest made its maiden call to Sydney today, docking at White Bay Cruise Terminal around 7 am. Carrying 686 guests from 20 countries, Azamara Quest ends its 10-night Great Barrier Reef itinerary sailing from Cairns to Sydney on Friday 15 January.
The ship then embarks on a new 16-night itinerary of Australia and New Zealand. Docking overnight at Overseas Passenger Terminal, Azamara Quest will depart Sydney on Saturday 16 January morning for Auckland voyage with calls at Melbourne, Port Arthur, Hobart, Milford Sound, Dunedin, Akaroa, Picton, Napier and Tauranga. The ship will then sail a return trip to Sydney from Auckland, before repositioning back to Asia.

Australia is now Azamara’s third largest market and the boutique cruise brand is looking forward to a great response following Azamara Quest’s maiden season Down Under. Azamara Club Cruises has also recently confirmed it will deploy a ship to the region for another two seasons, with Azamara Journey coming for the first time in 2017 and Azamara Quest returning in 2018, following extensive revitalisations that will see the ships undergo multi-million dollar facelifts.
