Cunard’s ‘Voyage of Sporting Greats’ sails out of Sydney on February 13, 2024, and there will be a wealth of Australian sporting talent and famous historians onboard.
The already announced Brett Lee will be joined by AFL hero and Australian of the Year 2014 Adam Goodes, celebrated golfer Karrie Webb, Sunrise sports presenter and renowned commentator Mark Beretta, and Amanda McLaren, the daughter of New Zealand Formula 1 race car driver Bruce McLaren.
Those onboard will be treated to a series of talks, bespoke sporting activities and specially designed sport-themed shore excursions in Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart.
Adam Goodes says he can’t wait to connect both with guests of the ships and his fellow sporting legends: “This is a spectacular opportunity to join the other sporting icons and connect with guests onboard Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth. I am looking forward to sharing stories about my career, what drives and inspires me and what projects I am currently working on. I am specifically keen to talk to fans onboard and create great memories of the sailing for them.”

The one-week voyage starts from $2349 per person for a twin-share Balcony stateroom or from $1749 for an inside stateroom. You’ll be sailing on Queen Elizabeth, the second largest ship in Cunard’s fleet, carrying in 2000 guests, 1000 crew, 10 eateries, a games deck, two-storey library and plenty more.
