A royal flush: Princess completes its first sailing back

Princess Cruises’ Majestic Princess has completed a seven-day round-trip from Seattle through Alaska, visiting Glacier Bay National Park, Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan after more than a year off .

Jan Swartz, Princess Cruises President said: “Welcome back to Princess, is what I said to our guests while I was cruising with them onboard Majestic Princess for our first Return to Alaska cruise.

“From the very beginning, Alaska has been at the core of Princess Cruises and has really helped shaped the very essence of who we are today. While visiting ports of call, I personally expressed my gratitude to our port partners and elected officials who were instrumental in our return and joined me in warmly welcoming guests to their picturesque communities.”

Other guests who are lucky enough to hop on board Majestic Princess this season will be treated to visits of iconic ports, glaciers and attractions as well enjoying a range of authentic Alaska-themed activities.

The “North to Alaska” program is a celebration of The Last Frontier state, with local personalities, cultural immersion and Alaskan seafood all part of the package.

Elsewhere on board you can also expect the specialty dining, movies under the stars, high-production shows and plenty more.

Throughout the northern hemisphere autumn season Princess Cruises will be sailing out of Los Angeles, San Francisco and Ft.Lauderdale, with guests returning to famed destinations such as the Caribbean, Mexico, Panama Canal and Hawaii.
