Luxury line Ponant set to deploy first Australian ship

Luxury line Ponant announced it would be deploying its first ship to Australia.

It will be one of four new ships which will be part of the Explorer Class, a set of luxury expedition ships.

The fleet is designed for guests who want to explore more remote parts of the world in style. The ships will have 92 oceanview staterooms and suites and will be able to carry 184 guests.

Onboard the ship, there will be world class facilities including a spa, gym, observation lounge, casual and formal dining, main lounge and terrace deck. There will also interior and exterior bars with an infinity glass-ending swimming pool.

The ships are scheduled for delivery in 2018/19.
