Evergreen to add two new Star Ships to its fleet in 2017

Evergreen Tours has announced it will increase its river fleet to seven in 2017 with the launch of two new Star Ships – Emerald Liberté and Emerald Radiance. Liberté will sail France’s Rhone and Saone rivers while Radiance will travel through Portugal on the Douro.

The ships will be smaller versions of those currently in the fleet, custom designed to sail these rivers, and have a passenger to guest ratio of three to one. Liberté will carry 138 guests in 70 cabins and Radiance will carry 112 guests in 56 cabins. Both ships will feature Evergreen’s popular pool and cinema.

The ships will sail eight-day itineraries that can be combined into a 15-day France and Portugal river cruise journey.
