My daughter and I were concerned because of the changes in my wife’s condition. However, we really loved the cruise and everything went pretty smooth. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on the cruise.
I enjoyed every minute of this cruise because it fulfilled my goal of relaxation and being pampered by crew. Celebrity is a step up in all ways over my previous experiences with Princess and Royal Caribbean. I was traveling solo and appreciated the activities crew member who met with the large solo group on the first day and arranged for 2 tables to acclimate 10 each in the dining room at different times, so we could join other solo travelers for company and dinner.
Got checked in allotted time. Room ready shortly after lunch. Luggage arrived soon after ship sailing. Safety instructions were very quick and organized. Took minimal time. Good ports and good on board entertainment. Good food. Enjoyed sea days(2). Disembarkation was easy; found luggage quickly and through customs easily.
Celebrity always does a great job and the port of Puerto Plata was beuitiful
I’ve been on many cruises and numerous brands. This was not a good cruise and I DO NOT recommend wasting your money on it or Celebrity X
The cruise was great! 1st. time on Celebrity and enjoyed the shows! The food and service was great! I think for a 1st. time with Celebrity was great!
Good cruise overall. Wish there were a wider choice of excursions at each port for adults and kids. Because this was before spring break for many schools, there weren’t many kids or teenagers. There were a ton of walkers, wheelchairs, and motorized scooters. . The average age on this cruise was probably around 65.
This was a fun and relaxing cruise. Celebrity entertainment and service are always great.
The Southern Caribbean cruise on the Celebrity Eclipse was economical and an excellent experience. The four days at sea, spread out over cruise duration added to our relaxation. Thank you.

If you are tired of the hustle and bustle of Royal Caribbean’s big ships that are overrun with unsupervised children, and if you want to experience cruising almost the way it used to be, Celebrity should be for you. This was a very relaxing cruise for us- with almost no kids. The onboard service was most excellent.
Overall we had a fabulous time and we can’t wait for our next Cruise
We had a suite which was well appointed and spotless. Staff was tremendous. Weather was great, which helped. Pool is dated, awaiting renovations this spring. Couldn’t ask for much more. Was just great…
Excellent cruise with a variety of educational and entertainment experiences. King Charles Brown presented outdated information on cruise ports. Lawrence Grinter provided excellent presentations on the history of piracy in the Caribbean. Jay, singer and guitar player in multiple venues was excellent. Sites visited, for the most part, were excellent.
Over, all a good value and a good time. Weather wasn’t great , we still enjoyed our time on the ship.
Adventurous. New ports we never visited before. Hurricane Oscar added some excitement for seasoned cruisers, if not necessarily for new cruisers. Shows were great.

This was our first cruise and it definitely was amazing ready for our next cruise
Our Balcony room continued to be flooded with water every day. Guest relations was terrible and didn’t reply or fix our problem until the 9th day of the cruise.. They only moved us to another room on the 9th day and then tried to charge us another $111.60 for items we didn’t use, etc. This may be the last time we ever cruise with Celebrity unless they give us a complete refund as my wife got sick due to the mold and we room, we didn’t get hardly any sleep, several of our tours were cancelled, the captain couldn’t speak English properly, and the whole cruise was just a terrible disaster. Don’t go on this ship! You will be disappointed and a waste of time and money!
I realize that Celebrity suffered a lot financially during Covid, but Celebrity great are now gone, or cost extra. The Classic Beverage wine selection is pitiful. The staff, while still great, seem to be constantly on the run to keep up with the demand for their services.

Overall the cruise was good however embankment was a nightmare. Boston is not set up as a cruise terminal should be. Had to wait roughly 2 hours in the sun prior to embarking since the debarkment of the prior cruise was taking sooooo long.
The ports were good, weather was great. Everyone was complaining about chicken dishes in the main dining room, they were always tough. Food is not as good as usual, but that seems to be across all cruise lines.
Weather was excellent. But cruise line had no control of that. Would have liked more time in Quebec City. Possibly make it 12 day cruise instead of 11.
Service was decent. Most passengers were senior citizens thus it was easy to get along
Customs should be done in Boston when leaving ship. Portland should be visited on the way up to Canada making Boston the first entry to USA on returning. I should not have to lose a day of my cruise to get customs done.
We highly recommend this 11 day cruise itinerary. This was one of our top cruises.

Loved the itinerary. Wish we could have spent more time in Quebec. The crew is fantastic, but wait for the refurb before you book this ship
Good cruise. Older ship needs to be updated. Not enough restaurant choices. Main dining were the only team members who did not smile and seamed very hassled. Main dining hostess always looked annoyed when we didn’t want to share a table. Buffet breakfast also needs an update worst scrambled eggs I have ever seen, I think they were powered eggs. Seating thru out the ship was very low except in eating areas. I still think Celebrity is a great cruise line and and is our first choice in cruise lines.
