Carnival Cruise Line has further extended its pause in operations for all Australian sailings through to 19 April 2021.

In addition, Carnival Spirit sailings will also be cancelled through to June 2021.

Carnival apologised for the “disruption to your holiday plans and trust you understand this decision was made with everyone’s best interest at heart.”

Passengers booked on any itineraries on Carnival Splendor or Spirit will be entitled to 100 per cent Future Cruise Credit or 100 per cent refund.

Those choosing a FCC and have booked on itineraries of six nights or more, will be entitled to $900 on board credit per stateroom on their next cruise if they rebook by 31 May 2021 for sailings by 30 April 2023.

Passengers on sailings of five nights or less will be given an on board credit of $450 per stateroom on their next cruise if booked by 31 May 2021.

Carnival said that refunds will take up to three months to process.
