New entertainment, accommodation and features aboard Sky Princess

Princess Cruises’ Sky Princess floated out earlier this week, showcasing a range of new activities, accommodation, dining options and entertainment.

The newest innovation Princess has introduced is two new Sky Suites on the top of the ship which offer experiences like stargazing sessions and musical performances. And there will also be a special Movies Under the Stars screen where guests can watch films from the suite’s terrace. There are also 38 balcony cabins around the pool.

The adults-only space, The Sanctuary has also moved up to deck 18 and has eight private cabanas for guests to relax in.

Princess, which is known for their great entertainment, have new shows making their debut on the Sky Princess like Rock Opera and 5 Skies with a third show debuting on the ship’s Caribbean sailings. And a fourth, which is yet to be announce, will be launched next year.

There will also be a new puppet show inspired by the hilarious Avenue Q. Creator of the hit Tony-award winning show has created a new puppet show called Inspired Silliness in partnership with the Jim Henson Creature shop.

Also, for jazz lovers, Jazz Lounge Take Five is a new theatre area for live jazz music, educational program and historical presentations.

The new Wakeview Pool at the back of the ship is the perfect place to grab a bite and a vino while you watch the sea go by.
