Royal Caribbean’s Spectrum of the Seas is the new face of multigenerational cruising with the ultimate family suite.
The 5622-passenger Spectrum of the Seas will be the largest ship in Asia when she makes her maiden call to the region next month.
The ship debuts the Ultimate Family Suite, a two-level cabin that accommodates up to 11-guests, on the line’s Quantum Ultra-class.
It includes a master bedroom, along with two additional suites for grandparents and other family members.
Royal Caribbean has made sure there is room for everyone in this ultimate suite and is looking to offer similar accommodation on other ships.
Prepare for your kids to rule the kid-friendly space on the upper level, complete with an in-suite slide to the living area below.

The master bedroom also boasts a bathroom that is floating off the side of the ship with ‘unparalleled water views’ and the recreation room is also decked out with surround-sound equipment for karaoke, movies or video games.
Spectrum of the Seas will also be introducing the line’s first private enclave for suite guests, as well as new dining concepts an even a new karaoke venue on board.
Royal Caribbean’s first exclusive suites-only area, will feature the exquisite Golden and Silver suite accommodations in a private enclave, with special keycard access, a private elevator and a dedicated restaurant and lounge.
Guests booked in the luxury suites will have access to a range of exclusive amenities and The Balcony – a private outdoor space for sunbathing and relaxing that offers the best views on board.
The ship also has new restaurant offerings like Sichuan Red where you can find authentic cuisine from the Sichuan province of China.
Wonderland’s Dadong, curated by Chinese chef Dong Zhenxiang will also be bringing his much-coveted roast duck on board.
Traditional tea room, Leaf and Bean, will serve up authentic Chinese teas, classic coffee drinks as well as freshly baked Chinese and Western desserts and pastries.

Spectrum of the Seas will be making three sailings from Singapore before heading to homeport in Shanghai, offering North Asian itineraries.
The ship will be the largest in Asia, with a total capacity of 5,622 guests.
