APT partners Opera Australia for amazing Kimberley experiences

APT, one of Australia’s leading luxury cruise and travel brands, has created a new partnership with Opera Australia that will see some extraordinary experiences for APT passengers.

In a first, two of Australia’s finest singers and musicians from the company will perform in the Cathedral Gorge, in the heart of the Bungle Bungle range in September – exclusively for APT Kimberley guests.

The huge natural red rock amphitheatre within the Purnululu National Park – a World Heritage listed area of Western Australia – will see this musical first on September 8 and 9 as part of the Opera in the Kimberley series.

“The acoustics are amazing and it promises to be an astonishing performance,” APT Director Robert McGeary told Cruise Passenger at an Opera Australia performance of LA BOHÈME.

“With both companies carefully curating cultural experiences, the synergies between the two create the perfect partnership,” he said.

APT will also be Production Partner for the National Tour of Madama Butterfly, which will see the opera company visit towns from Cairns to Kalgoorlie.

New branding and advertising campaigns, along with investments in river ships for Travelmarvel, underscore APT’s determination to hold and grow its position as one of Australia’s leading travel brands in 2019.
