The construction of Silversea Cruises Muse is on progress located at Fincantieri, Italy. It is considered to be the largest and the latest addition to the Silversea Cruises ships fleet. The Silver Muse will be the flagship of the Silver Sea Cruises after the scheduled inauguration in Spring 2017. This luxury ship has a gross tonnage of 40,700 tons. This can accommodate 596 passengers on board.
Accommodation
There are 298 suites aboard Silver Muse which is dubbed to be the largest on board. Those rooms are given private balcony areas. The size of the room ranges from 390 to 1970 square feet. These rooms are given with slippers, chest, walk-in closets, iPod station, alarm clocks, umbrella and binoculars. The Grand, Silver and the Owner’s Suite has added amenities like global phone use for two hours for free, dinner at the officer’s table as well as afternoon canapés. Each of the suit has been assigned with a junior butler and attendant.
Food
There are eight completely diverse restaurants on board the Silver Muse. The La Terrazza and The Hot Rocks have the menu which features gourmet cuisine. The Atlantide is the bar and grill restaurant on board which features gourmet fish and other seafood specialties. The 7 Restaurant is an open seating dining room with offers Mediterranean cuisine for their guests on board. The La Grande Dame (which is named as Le Champagne on other Silversea vessels) offers signature menu by Relais Chateaux which caters 24 seats. The Kabuki is a specialty restaurant which offers Asian cuisine and will require reservations beforehand.
Activities
The Silversea Muse is a quiet ship in terms of entertainment on board. There are occasional movie screening, team trivia games, golf competitions and bingo sessions. However, The Theater is the center of entertainment during the night which features fine live jazz performances and Broadway –style shows. On board there is a theatre named as L’Opera which offers full-scale shows and movies. The Spa on board SilverSea Muse offers relaxation rooms, treatment areas and acupuncture suite as well as outdoor whirlpool.
Families
The Silver Muse is targeting multigenerational families or friends who are travelling together. The ship has added two bedroom configuration measuring 1,119 square feet which can accommodate an entire family or groups of friends on a voyage.
