Overview: Viking Fontane is one of two smaller, intimate river cruise vessels in Viking’s range. She is perfect for the Elbe River because of her flat base. She carries 112 passengers.

Cabins: 56 comfortable outside staterooms (8 French Balcony, 48 Standard), new French Balcony stateroom is 200 square feet with hotel-style beds and a refrigerator.

Entertainment: Sun deck with 360-degree views and shaded sitting area, onboard boutique and free shipwide wireless internet.

Bars/Lounges: Observation Lounge and bar with panoramic windows.

Dining: Restaurant with panoramic views.

Onboard Activities: Hands-on demonstrations in cuckoo clock-making, wooden shoe-carving or glassblowing, classes in cooking specialties like apple strudel and Alsatian flammkuchen, traditional performances of folk music and dance, or waltzes by Strauss and tastings of local cheeses, coffees, liqueurs and other delicacies.
