Carnival Cruise Line announces rare voyage from Sydney to Singapore

Carnival Cruise Line is offering Aussies the chance to escape the 2024 winter with a special 15-day voyage out to Singapore, as well as a 16-day return journey. The return journey includes a special ‘first in fleet’ visit to Jakarta aboard Carnival Splendor.

Carnival Cruises Singapore sailings will begin when Carnival Splendor starts her journey on July 15, sailing for 15-days to Singapore, visiting Queensland staples Brisbane, Airlie Beach and Cairns, as well as some less common Carnival destinations Lombok Island in Indonesia and Benoa in Bali. Fares start from $1388 per person for a twin share.

After this, Splendor will have a three-week dry dock in Singapore, and following some fine tuning, if you want to be the first to enjoy her quick revamp you can jump on a 16-day cruise from Singapore back to Sydney. This cruise leaves on August 24, 2024 and starts from $1404 for a twin share.

On the voyage back to Australia, Carnival Splendor will enjoy her makeover by showing off in Jakarta for the first time, before heading back to Sydney via Benoa, Lombok, Darwin, Airlie Beach and Tangalooma.

More details will be shared shortly on exactly what kind of a freshen up the ship will receive during its three week vacation in Singapore.

On the new Carnival Cruises Singapore sailings, VP, Kara Glamore said, “These two new cruises are perfect for those who want to immerse themselves in Carnival fun and experience destinations and sailings that don’t come around often.

“Along with visiting tropical Australian destinations like the Whitsundays and Darwin, guests can enjoy the beaches and temples of Bali, snorkel the coral reefs of Lombok Island and indulge in the melting pot of cuisines and cultures that make up Singapore. On-board, guests will be able to discover all of the fun activities that Carnival Splendor has to offer and, no doubt, create amazing memories while doing so.”
