P&O’s dollar experiment

Following Cruise Passenger’s story last week about how the rising Aussie dollar will affect your cruise, P&O have come out with a video that hammers home the message about the value of cruise lines that use local currency.

And P&O pledges it will never be charging their guests in US dollars.

The crew set up a hot dog stand in the middle of Sydney with a man offering meals for just $5.

But the catch, unknown to customers, is that they are being charged in US dollars.

Watch the disbelief, the shock and even the anger.
